I had my 70th on Saturday 22nd of August 2026 and had The Spitting Pig as our caterers. They were catering for 17 kids and about 50 Adults.Tony and his team were brilliant, they arrived early and worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great day. Everyone complimented the hog roast, and we had many say that it was the best they had ever eaten! I would also like to say that the staff went above and beyond. They were so, so lovely! We used Spitting Pig for a reward meal for 90 staff. Chose the Southern Slow Roast Menu which was absolutely brilliant. Food was awesome and well set out. Booked these guys as catering for our wedding reception. They did a fantastic job, no fuss, just set up served some amazing food then left quietly. They were so communicative and helpful in planning our menu and the food they provided on the day was brilliant, just what everyone wanted. We received so many comments from our guests praising the catering, it really contributed to everyone having such a good time. We hired the Spitting Pig company to cater our wedding.  We wanted a relaxed garden party at home but didn’t want the work involved of catering the event.  The Spitting Pig was exceptional from beginning to end and gave us exactly what we wanted. Out event hosts were Chris and Kayleigh, Kayleigh was our initial contact and dealt with the ordering and menu choices in the 1st instance.  She was lovely and nothing was too much trouble.  We had a dairy allergy (My Mom), 2 Celiac and some vegetarians and she put me at ease straight away and assured me this would be no problems and even offered to make a diary free Mac and Cheese. (My Mom loved this and even asked to take the leftovers home) Chris was present on the day; he was brilliant too.  He arrived in good time, and we even felt comfortable enough to leave him at our home to set up as we left to get married and when we come back, everything was ready and sorted for us. The food was superb; everyone commented on how good the meat was and how lovely the whole set up was.  After they had finished serving, they cleared away even took the rubbish away with them, you would never have known they had been. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently used Spitting Pig Events for a private garden party for lunch and evening, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish which means I get to enjoy the party rather than worrying about our guests getting fed. A huge thank you to the whole team. Everyone was so professional, friendly, and approachable, making the whole experience completely stress-free. The garden setup looked professional and was beautifully presented. The hog roast was absolutely delicious—tender, full of flavour, and enjoyed by all of our guests, from age 8 to 88.  The quality of the food and service exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Spitting Pig Events to anyone looking for outstanding catering, and we will 100% be using them again.
