Hog Roast East Hanney Left A Lasting Impression At This Corporate Christmas Lunch

At this side of the year, Hog Roast East Hanney splits our time between catering for Christmas parties, weddings, more Christmas parties, birthdays, corporate events, and did we mention…Christmas parties?! After all, the festive season is arguably the most exciting thing about December. And as proud Xmas enthusiasts, our team loves nothing more than spreading festive cheer through – you guessed it – our delicious, winter-warming menus!

We’re always happy to be kept busy, and trust us when we tell you that this month has been a very busy one! With lots of people keen to make up for what has been an extraordinarily crazy year, we have been rushed off our feet with bookings for all sorts of different events lately.

Hog Roast East Hanney Recently, we even had the pleasure of providing award-winning electronics manufacturers, Navtech Radar with the food for their annual staff Christmas lunch!

When we first heard from the client, Emily, who had been tasked with organising the entire shindig, she made it clear that she was looking for the whole shebang. And, as always, Hog Roast East Hanney’s catering managers, Reece and Matt were up to the task.

Before long, the pair presented the client with her dream menu which consisted of a spit-roasted, free-range pig with all the trimmings, including fully festive sides of glazed sprouts, Chantenay carrots, peas and green beans, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets and roast potatoes, followed by mince pies with brandy cream. Veggies and vegans weren’t left out either, as with grilled vegetable kebabs on the menu with the choice of added halloumi, tzatziki dip and flatbreads, every taste and dietary requirement was catered to.

Reece, Matt and the rest of the Hog Roast East Hanney catering crew spent the entire morning on the day of the event working on the flavoursome banquet, which was to feed all 65 members of Navtech Radar’s staff. As the hours ticked by, the flames licked at the rotating pork, transforming the skin into a crisp, golden layer of irresistible crackling, the scent of which drove the guests wild with excitement.

Before long, the wait was over, and everyone was soon digging into the succulent spread, which they all agreed was out-of-this-world delicious!
