Hog Roast Cricklade Prepares For A Halloween Wedding!

Some of you may know the month of October as the season of the witch, but here at Hog Roast Cricklade, we like to think of it as being the season of the pig. And so, now that Halloween is right around the corner, we’re getting ready to help you celebrate the spooky occasion in the best way we know how – with one of our flavorous hog roasts, of course!

After last year’s plans fell through, we know that you’ll be keen to make Halloween 2021 bigger and better than ever before, and here to help you achieve that dream is our catering manager, Reece. Having so far devoted several years to Hog Roast Cricklade, you can trust us when we tell you that there’s no one better equipped to handle your celebrations than Reece is; and whether you’re planning a children’s fancy dress party or a horrifying adults-only affair, he’ll be there to help you find a devilishly delicious feast that will go down a treat for all those involved.

Hog Roast Cricklade For horror-obsessed Zoey and her fiance, Josh, Halloween this year holds even more significance. The pair are due to tie the knot next month at a notoriously haunted castle on All Hallows’ Eve, and Hog Roast Cricklade has been asked to serve our highly popular Alfresco Wedding Menu to their 200-strong wedding party.

Their chosen feast will start off with a carefully arranged selection of Italian meats and cheeses; including Prosciutto Parma ham, salami, Buffalo Mozzarella, Parmigiano and gorgonzola, with fresh-baked artisan bread and herb-infused Focaccia and ciabatta, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sundried tomatoes and olives served on rustic wooden boards for guests to help themselves.

To follow the delicious antipasti platters, Hog Roast Cricklade will then serve our signature slow-roasted pig with traditional sides of sage and onion stuffing, crackling, applesauce and bread rolls, along with fresh-tossed salad options, creamy coleslaw, buttered new potatoes and grilled veggie kebabs for the non-meat-eaters. To finish, Zoey and Josh have chosen our rich-tasting profiteroles with cream and our light and zesty tarte au citron.

We’re confident the guests will be pleased with the menu, and we’re even more excited to see the look on the happy couple’s face on the day!
