Earlier this year, Hog Roast Great Milton was contacted by a local family to provide catering at their garden party taking place in June. The family hosts annual summer gatherings for friends and neighbours to enjoy, including great music, delicious food, and plenty of drinks. This year, Hog Roast Great Milton has been hired to provide our delicious gourmet BBQ menu for the occasion, as this catering package is sure to go down a treat on a sunny afternoon. The menu needed to include meat-free and gluten-free options and have plenty for 80 guests to enjoy.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Great Milton team arrived at the family home in the afternoon and began to set up our catering station. For the food preparation, we got to work on grilling a selection of main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs and BBQ spareribs. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the side dishes, the guests could enjoy sweet potato fries, homemade chips, crunchy coleslaw, a green leaf salad, corn cobettes, and mac and cheese. Overall, this menu was packed full of flavour and included plenty of different dishes for the guests to enjoy. Our menu was served buffet style, allowing everyone to grab a plate of their choosing from what we had to offer.
