As a manager, Alan tries to offer small incentives regularly for his staff, with bigger rewards such as free lunches provided seasonally. This autumn, the Hog Roast Henley-On-Thames was hired to serve a classic hog roast for the 40 staff members, alongside a few delicious extras to create a varied and nutritious lunch. This will be a great alternative to the usual pre-packaged lunches that the staff enjoy and will be ideal for boosting morale. At Hog Roast Henley-On-Thames, we know how important it is to create good working relationships, so we were more than happy to get involved.
On the day of the lunch, the Hog Roast Henley-On-Thames team arrived at the office in the morning to prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog, which required around five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also served halloumi and vegetable skewers, which are nutritious and tasty. For the sides, the guests enjoyed homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Overall, our dishes created the perfect buffet lunch for the team to enjoy, with plenty to go around and something for everyone to enjoy. The lunch was a great opportunity for everyone to bond and relax after working so hard over the summer.
