Maria is the manager of a community centre in Thames Valley and she has hired us several times in the past to cater for communal events and gatherings. Our menu is always a treat for the guests to enjoy and is perfect for attracting a bigger turnout. This January, she is organising a community get-together for local people to attend, complete with a delicious slow roast from Hog Roast Marlow. The gathering will be a great way for people in the community to chat and relax after a busy January and enjoy a great meal together. Our hog roast is going to be perfect since it is incredibly delicious and versatile.
On the day of the gathering, the Hog Roast Marlow team arrived at the community centre in the morning and began to prepare for the 6:00 pm serving time. All of our dishes are prepared on-site, to ensure maximum flavour and quality. We started by slow-roasting the hog, which needed around five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Alternatively, the guests could enjoy succulent pork sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, or marinated chicken kebabs. We also provided homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a green leaf salad, which created the perfect menu for the occasion.
