Hog Roast Shipton-under-Wychwood at Georgie’s Family Christmas party!

Christmas is glistening on the horizon and Hog Roast Shipton-under-Wychwood’s latest event was a suitably festive and loving occasion. Client Georgie was having a small but very fun Christmas party for his children and grandchildren, and the team were only too happy to have a role in the family event.

Client Georgie worked with the Hog Roast Shipton-under-Wychwood team to put together a menu that would be great for the adults and kids alike. There was sure to be something for all of the 12 guests to enjoy.

Hog Roast Shipton-under-WychwoodChef Reece who was given the task of creating the buffet came up with the idea of adding Hot Dogs and buns to the buffet for the young children to enjoy. Client Georgie loved this attention to detail!

The buffet was made by Chef Reece fresh on the day of the event. He arrived at Client Georgie’s home, where the Christmas party was taking place, several hours before the 4pm serving time. There was plenty of space on the driveway for the catering gazebo, lights, cooking equipment and serving table to be set up.

When Georgie and his guests were ready for the buffet at 4pm everything was prepared. The guests had the use of disposable crockery and cutlery that the Hog Roast Shipton-under-Wychwood team provided.

The buffet was full of tasty treats for the guests. While the kids could tuck into Hot Dogs, which they could add shredded cheese to there were many other dishes too! There was Thai chicken kebabs and meaty marinated spare ribs, as well as a tray of BBQ pulled jackfruit. There was also a tray of grilled vegetable and halloumi wraps, as well as bowls of delicious fresh salads. Finishing off the buffet was a mountain of loaded fries, these chips were topped with cheese and other tasty treats.

The buffet went down a treat and Chef Reece stayed on site the whole time to help serve it. Once the food had been enjoyed Chef Reece discreetly tidied away. All the rubbish from the catering was later disposed of safely by the Hog Roast Shipton-under-Wychwood team.

The family Christmas party had been great fun for all involved and Client Georgie was utterly delighted with all of Chef Reece’s hard work.
